The European Forum of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Christian Groups exists to work for equality for LGBT people within and through the Christian churches of Europe.
The Forum is a growing ecumenical network of more than 30 groups from more than 15 countries in Europe. The groups and their members support one another and any individuals who are facing discrimination. The European Forum also represents the member groups in discussions with ecumenical bodies, national churches, and civic and political organisations.
Freedom of Expression for LGBT people in St. Petersburg

The parliament of St. Petersburg wanted to pass a law against "propaganda of homosexualism..." forbidding any form of the self-expression of LGBT people towards persons under 18 years including any form of sexual education in school dealing with LGBT issues or public demonstrations like Gay Pride marches.
International protest has stopped the parlament accepting this law. The European Forum has written a letter to Vadim Tulpanov, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.

Los cristianos y cristianas LGBT quieren que el Papa Benedicto XVI defienda sus derechos humanos

Hoy el Forum Europeo de Grupos Cristianos de lesbianas, gays, bisexuales y transexuales ha enviado una carta al Papa Benedicto XVI pidiendo un respeto real de los derechos humanos y la integridad de las personas LGBT. Piden al Papa una declaración contra la violencia homófoba y contra cualquier presión por parte de las autoridades religiosas para llevar a cabo “terapias curativas”, las cuales son causantes de daños psicológicos graves. En esta carta, la Iglesia Católica está llamada a garantizar a las personas LGBT los mismos derechos fundamentales para poder desarrollar relaciones de amor con personas del mismo sexo sin temor a represalias por parte de sus jerarquías eclesiásticas.

Сегодня Европейский Форум Лесби-Гей-Бисексуальных-Трансгендерных Христианских Групп отправил послание Папе Бенедикту XVI с призывом уважать права человека и личную неприкосновенность ЛГБТ. Они призвали также Папу высказать позицию Церкви, которая осуждает насилие на почве гомофобии и давления религиозных лидеров и проведение «репаративной терапии», которая часто становится причиной психологических травм. В обращении Католическую Церковь призывают признать право ЛГБТ на благословение однополых союзов, основанных на любви, без страха перед иерархами Церкви.

Il 10 giugno 2011 il Forum europeo dei gruppi di cristiani Lesbiche, Gay, Bisessuali e Transgender (European forum of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender christian groups) consegnerà a Papa Benedetto XVI una lettera per chiedere il rispetto vero dei diritti umani e dell'integrità personale delle persone lesbiche, gay, bisex e trans (LGBT).
