Can I get financial support?

Why can't I book a 4 person room?

Sorry, all 4 person rooms are booked. You can have a 6 person room with less than 6 people if you pay extra. please contact the registration desk.

What if I don't sleep in the hostel?

If you don't sleep at the hostel, you have to find your own accomodation. You will have lunch and diner with everyone else, but no breakfast.

Can I pay with PayPal?

This year we are experimenting with PayPal, using the account of Esuberanza (publisher of the book Let Our Voices Be Heard!). Find all details in this form

What other costs can I expect?

The costs of the conference are all-inclusive: all activities, meals, coffee/tea/water. You have to pay for other drinks and snacks if you want them.

Where can I find other accommodation?

You can find it for example at www.booking.com. In this website it is possible to sort out in which district of Amsterdam you are looking for a hotel. We are in Zeeburg; the district Oost is not far (and some hotels may even be closer to our locations than other hotels in Zeeburg). The site provides a map so you can check the location yourself.

(NB: De Lantaerne is rather far away, in the center of Amsterdam).

Should I bring towels?

Yes. You will be given bed linen on arrival to make up your own bed. Towels are not included. These can be purchased at the hostel for €3.50 per item/pack.

What language is the deaf interpreter?

We will search for an international interpeter, depending on the wishes.

Can I have a single room?

Sorry, we have no single rooms.

Can I have a double room?

We have only 5 double rooms and for a much higher price, at least EUR 25 per person per night. Please contact the registration desk.
