Normal 0 21 Prima di tutto, io vorrei esprimere le mie grazie agli organizatori di questo convegno e tavola rotonda. Sono venuto a Roma, portando gli auguri della communita LGBT cattolica Londinese di Soho, Soho Masses community, e anche il Cutting Edge Consortium, un rete nuovo LGBT nel quale partecipano credenti e non-credenti, secolaristi ed attivisti nel campo degli diritti humani e diritti LGBT, movimenti politici e sociali. Vi prego per la vostra interesse simpatica come ora comincio la mia presentazione in Inglese.

"LGBT people and Christian churches in Europe: Fears and opportunities for full acceptance and inclusion"

This conference took place in Rome 10th of June during the Euro Pride 2011. It was organized by "Nuova Proposta", a Christian LGBT group from Rome, in cooperation with the European Forum.

In Germany, there are several ecumenical and Catholic LGBT organisations, groups and networks. They are are structured along lines of sex difference (gay / lesbian), ecclesial status (clergy / lay) and their focus on political, pastoral, liturgical or theological work. Mostly in the 1990s, these groups had a phase of splitting up, which was not without internal conflicts. At the moment we have reached a phase of respectful and trustful cooperation and sharing of work, triggered by two networking conferences in Bielefeld (in 2005 and 2008).

The first time I kissed a woman, I felt it deep inside and all the way down into my toes.

The first time I danced with a woman I felt the rhythm in my body and wanted to sing, to keep dancing, to just hold this woman close to me and never letting go.

The first time I fell in love with a woman I discovered what all the love songs was really about.
